Hello Everyone, these are the highlights from this weeks' meeting:
4 Way Test: We all ready the 4 way test.
Guests: No guests today.
Visiting Rotarians: No visiting Rotarians

Sergeant at Arms: Bill Sheddy was our Sargeant at Arms
Announcements:
- About the Seniors Christmas lunch. The WESN will be meeting on September 15 and will be discussing the possibility os the Seniors paying an amount for the lunch. The WESN does not have a budget to contribute to the event.
- We now have the total amount raised by the Hoopathon. It is $14,070 and the cheque will be presented to them very soon.
Guest Speaker: Today we had Rob Crandall and Heidi Steckler from project Amigo.
Some interesting tidbits from their presentation:
- The project ahs been running for 30 years.
- It was founded by a Rotarian that got lost and was befriended by some local kids who won his heart.
- They provide scholarships, mentoring, shoes and uniforms so children can get an education.
- One of the Alumni is now the Mayor and has a law degree.
- The annual costs to support a student are: $100 for elementary school, $600 for middle and high school and $4K for University.
