This week we had 2 guests, Diana Lozano who was Alfredo's guest and our ADG Tom Smith from the Tsawwassen club. Tom recited the 4 way test.

Tom then proceeded to award Lawrence with a Paul Harris!

Lawrence is now part of the Paul Harris society. Members of this society have committed to donating $1,000 every year to the Rotary Foundation. 

Tom spoke to the club about membership. The Vancouver clubs have created a website that can be used by prospective members to find clubs that meet on days and times that work best for them.

Our Guest Speaker was Raz Peel from the Vancouver chapter of the Alpine club of Canada. This organizations was founded to encourage the use of mountains for recreation and conservation.

AAC Vancouver currently has 1,150 members, 550 student members and they own 2 huts that can be rented by it's members. For more info please visit their website:
