We had 13 members attending our meeting this week. We also welcomed prospective member Reyna Dominguez and visiting Rotarian Mark P. Announcements: * It is with great pleasure that we announce our Rotary club president for 2021-22. Ed Kwan! * The Hoopathon committee shared a wonderful update, the other four Rotary clubs that are participating in this year's event have now announced their pledges. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Rotary Moment Ron Suzuki told us about how pink shirt day started. The first Anti-Bullying Day started on Canada's East Coast in 2007 when David Shepherd and Travis Price bought 50 pink shirts and distributed them at home in Berwick, Nova Scotia. The motivation for this special day came after grade nine student Chuck McNeill wore a pink shirt on the first day of school.
