Rotary Meeting September 30, 2015
Present 12 members, Two Rotarian guests from the ex
Quadra Club, Frances Kototyluk and Vicente Asuncion,
as well as our guest speaker Ana Fernandes
Gary did an spectular job reciting the Four Way Test, and
as did the club in the repeating it .
Announcements
1) Bill Sheddy is still taking names for the Rotary on Ice Giants game.This is good hockey.
2) Matthew is getting close to a resolution on making sure that the Senior’s Christmas Luncheon continues this year. The seniors don’t seem to mind paying $10.00 to attend, and one senior offered to donate a substantial amount towards the event (to be verified). Matthew is investigating two other hotels as possibilities for the
location. Westin has not responded as yet to Matthew.
3) Project Amigo- Each member received a letter that talks about the possible raffle to raise funds for the project. Tina asks that each member try to locate some substantial auction items, especially for the grand prizes. Goal for each member will be to sell ten tickets.
4) The Christmas party for our club will again be held at Lawrence and Bev’s house. Times, date, and food to be verified before too long.
Our guest speaker was Ana Fernandes from Odlum
Brown.
Larry will email a copy of the Portfolio to each member
who was not here today.
The club members had many questions for Ana, which she handled very well.
